Fees

If you are eligible for 15h or 30h government funding, we stretch your funding over 51 weeks, 11.18 hours per week for the 15h and 22.35 hours per week for the 30h. This ensures your invoice will be consistent throughout the year. When calculating your fees, we deduct your funded hours from your monthly invoice and apply a consumable/extra charge of £1.50 to all the government funded hours. This is because the government funding does not, nor is it intended to, cover the cost of consumables/extras.

We have identified the consumable/extras above; our charges for these are broken down as follows:
• Food – 75p (per funded hour)
• Consumables (e.g. nappies, sun cream) – 50p (per funded hour)
• Activities (e.g. trips, extracurricular activities) – 25p (per funded hour)
We believe these consumables/extras are essential to offering the highest quality care and supporting every child’s learning, development, and happiness. However, consumables/extras are voluntary. For parents who do not wish to pay the consumable charge, we have the following options:

• Food: parents may provide their own lunch, but this cannot be brought into or consumed on the nursery premises. Parents would therefore need to make their own arrangements at lunchtime. We will continue to provide food at other times: breakfast, tea and snacks.​

• Non-food consumables (nappies, suncream, ad hoc supplies): parents may provide their own; a charge will be applied for any day when such items are not supplied or have been exhausted.

• Activities: We are an inclusive setting so all children will continue to take part in all nursery activities, even if parents opt out of the consumable charge.

If you are unable or unwilling to pay for some or all of the consumables/extras, these please speak to the Nursery Manager, so that we can discuss alternative options.
All hours that are not covered by the government funded hours are charged at £8.50 (£85 daily)
