Job Description

As the sister nursery to Dragonflies Ditcham, the successful candidates will be part of a wider team of inspirational and dedicated early years professionals, able to access the support and networking opportunities we know are so important to continuous development and team work.


As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Nursery Manager in all aspects of the nursery’s operation. You will help lead the team, ensuring high standards of care, learning, and safety for all children. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the culture and educational approach of a new nursery, contributing your ideas and expertise to create a truly special place for children to learn and grow.


Our Deputy Nursery Manager will be joining us at a time when marketing, building relationships with families and the wider community as well as establishing an effective team who can provide exceptional care and education are of the upmost importance. This is a hands on role with plenty of variety and will suit someone with a wide range of skills and experiences and who thrives in a busy environment.


To be successful at shortlisting, applicants must be able to demonstrate:


  • Experience of working with children from 0 - 5 with an excellent understanding of the EYFS

  • Successful marketing initiatives

  • Sound commercial awareness

  • Strong leadership skills and experience

  • Excellent attention to detail
