Pay: £28,000 to £31,000 per annum FTE


Dragonflies at Oru Nursery, Sutton, we are so excited to be recruiting our Team to join us as we open Sutton’s newest nursery.

This is an exceptional opportunity for Early Years Educators to join during the pre-opening phase of the nursery and to work within a unique environment where wellbeing and collaboration are at the heart of the business.

Job Description


As the sister nursery to Dragonflies at Ditcham, the successful candidates will be part of a wider team of inspirational and dedicated early years professionals, able to access the support and networking opportunities we know are so important to continuous development and team work.


Working with their Room Leaders, Early Years Educators will fulfil any such duty that is required to meet children’s individual needs and support the nursery’s objectives. Deliver the nursery’s curriculum and provide the foundation that children need to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.


Observe the requirements and standards set out within the curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe.


Adhere to, and role model best practice safeguarding requirements. Provide professional and high quality customer service to families and other visitors to the setting.


To be successful at shortlisting, applicants must be able to demonstrate:


  • A full and relevant L2 or L3 Early Years Qualification or nursery experience

  • Good working knowledge of the EYFS

  • Good working knowledge of safeguarding requirements

  • Experience of working in a busy team environment

  • Experience of delivering high quality customer service
