About Dragonflies at Ditcham
Dragonflies at Ditcham is a high-quality, independent all-year-round day nursery located within the beautiful grounds of Ditcham Park School, just outside Petersfield. Our boutique nursery provides exceptional care and education for children aged 6 months to school age. With newly refurbished facilities and extensive outdoor space on the South Downs, our nursery offers a nurturing, inspiring environment where children can explore, grow, and thrive.

Job Description
At Dragonflies at Ditcham, successful candidates will work within a team of inspiring and dedicated early years professionals. Staff benefit from strong leadership, excellent support, and valuable opportunities for professional development and collaboration.
Working alongside Room Leaders, Early Years Educators will:
Fulfil duties that meet children’s individual needs and support the nursery’s aims and curriculum.
Deliver high-quality learning experiences and provide the foundation children need to reach their full potential.
Follow the standards and requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring children learn and develop well in a safe, nurturing environment.
Adhere to safeguarding policies and role-model best practice at all times.
Provide warm, professional, and high-quality customer service to families and visitors.
Person Specification
To be successful at shortlisting, applicants must demonstrate:
A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent nursery experience).
Strong working knowledge of the EYFS.
Good understanding of safeguarding requirements.
Experience working within a busy team environment.
Experience delivering high-quality customer service.

Additional Information
Applicants must undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers. An enhanced DBS check is required. A certificate of good conduct may be needed for applicants who have lived or worked overseas.
