💛 PJs, Pudsey, and Play: Dragonflies Nursery Raises Funds for Children in Need! 🐻

What a fantastic, fun-filled day we had at Dragonflies Nursery! Our amazing children, staff, and families pulled out all the stops to support a very important cause: BBC Children in Need.

The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, and even the gloomy weather couldn't dampen our spirits! We had a spectacular day of fundraising and activities, all while embracing the spirit of kindness and giving.

🛏️ Pyjama Power!

The first order of business? Getting comfy! All the children (and staff!) ditched their uniforms for the day and came dressed in their warmest, fluffiest pyjamas and dressing gowns. There is nothing quite like spending the day in your PJs to make everything feel a little extra cosy and fun!

🐻 Pudsey's Party Time

Pudsey Bear was definitely the guest of honour, and we made sure our activities were perfectly themed around the iconic yellow bear and his colourful spots!

• Pudsey Bear Crafts: Little hands were busy creating Pudsey-inspired masterpieces, from decorating masks to making spotty collages. The creativity was endless!

• Spotty Activities: We incorporated Pudsey's signature spots into various games and learning stations, helping the children with colour recognition and fine motor skills in a super-fun way.

🟡 The Great Yellow Treasure Hunt!

To truly celebrate Pudsey's bright yellow colour, we embarked on a thrilling Yellow Treasure Hunt around the nursery. The children worked together, searching high and low to find various yellow objects hidden in their play areas. This was a wonderful exercise in teamwork, observation, and, of course, a great way to talk about the colour that makes Pudsey so recognisable!

✨ A Day of Smiles and Success!

The best part of the day was seeing the sheer joy and excitement on every child's face. The photos speak for themselves—there were smiles, giggles, and endless enthusiasm throughout the nursery!

We are so proud of our Dragonflies children for participating and learning about the importance of helping others. We can't wait to share the final fantastic total we raised!
